Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds have today confirmed their line-up for the upcoming Australian tour, with original bassist Barry Adamson and The Saints' co-founder Ed Kuepper.

The full line-up for the much-anticipated dates features Nick Cave, Warren Ellis, Jim Sclavunos, Barry Adamson, Martyn Casey, Ed Kuepper and Conway Savage. TheMusic.com.au previously reported that Adamson would likely be part of the tour.

In further news today, Mark Lanegan has been announced as the national support while the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra Chamber Strings will join the Melbourne show, the Queensland Symphony Orchestra join Brisbane's show and a 12 piece choir will join the Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney Opera House shows. Already announced for Sydney's Opera House shows were members of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
