PREMIERE: Luke Thompson's Hauntingly Beautiful Foreigners

13 February 2013 | 2:31 pm | Dan Condon

We premiere the artist's new clip as he prepares to tour Australia next month.

New Zealand singer-songwriter Luke Thompson released an album by the name of To The Common Dark towards the end of last year for free download, and he sure as hell didn't expect it to receive the kind of response that it has.

After being downloaded an unprecedented number of times by Australian music lovers, Thompson has decided the time is nigh to treat us to these songs in the live setting and will visit us next month for three very intimate shows along the east coast of the country.

Before he comes over, he shares with us the video for the songForeigners, which we premiere on theMusic.com.au this afternoon. The clip is stark and simple, much like the song, and you could say it really takes us on a journey...
