Bands Announced For Hoodoo Gurus' Dig It Up!

The first round of bands have been announced for the Hoodoo Gurus curated festival Dig It Up!

Joining the Aussie legends will be punk rock forerunners The Flamin' Groovies, heavy metal icons Blue Oyster Cult, UK band Buzzocks, former bassist from The Nerves, Peter Case and alternative Perth outfit The Stems.

The Gurus will roll out some more support acts down the track, but for now, this is enough throwback rock to get fans excited. Just last week, Dave Faulkner promised the lineup would meet the high expectations after last year's success.

"We had no intention of doing anything unless we could maintain the same standard, with that standard being rock 'n' roll perfection. Well, I can confidently state that this year's line-up will live up to everyone's high expectations." The Gurus will play at each show.
