The Melbourne venue help out their struggling Tassie mates.

The Tote has helped out those affected by the recent Tasmanian bushfires, raising $5,576.30 for the Red Cross Appeal.

The Melbourne venue held an all day event on Monday 28 January, with a host of bands performing and a number of familiar faces helping out with the festivities. Witch Hats, Spinning Rooms, Gallant Trees and Mike Noga were some of the acts that took the stage to entertain the people who came to lend their support.

Punters were treated to a good ol' Aussie BBQ, with former Richmond AFL players Brendon Dale, Michael Gale and Matthew "Richo" Richardson assisting with the cooking duties.

Anyone who couldn't make the gig, don't worry, you can still donate to the Red Cross here.

This helping hand comes on the back of Falls Festival donating $10,000 to the appeal earlier this month.
