More The Bronx More The Bronx

Los Angeles-based hardcore punk favourites The Bronx have revealed to theMusic.com.au today that they'll be marking their tenth anniversary with a box set and Australian tour.

Speaking to theMusic.com.au's Brendan Hitchens this morning the band's frontman Matt Caughthran said that along with their new record The Bronx IV, their first in five years while they busied themselves with their mariachi side project, they're collating a box of rarities.

“We have a huge box set that is being developed right now," he confirmed. "We're re-releasing all the records on vinyl along with a record of b-sides and a book on the band. Bronx III never got released on vinyl so this will be the first time that it's out. It will be the first time the new record is on vinyl, plus I and II have been long out of print.

“I'm really excited about it. It will be a cool retrospective of the band and where we've been and where we've come from.”

When asked about an Australian tour, Caughtran says, “It's going to be in April. We have a bunch of special stuff planned for then.”
