It may not be out until Friday 8 February, but we thought you might not like to wait that long for the new Tegan & Sara album.

So, thanks to out friends at Warner we've the exclusive Australian stream of Heartthrob – their sixth studio record and first in three years from the Canadian twins.

As you'll soon discover, the record is a departure from their previous material as the duo have started to look to electronic influences, rather than just the guitar. And the lyrical content has moved on as well – even though there's still a few relationship heart-string pullers on Heartthrob there's a feeling they scope is a lot wider this time around. Indeed, the duo themselves have described it as a “happier” record.
