Peking Duk topple the Nordic mob.

More Peking Duk More Peking Duk

Australia's Peking Duk have toppled EDM titans Swedish House Mafia from the top of the ARIA Club Chart this week.

The Swedish team of super DJ/producers had clocked up a record 14 weeks at the top of the local dance listings and were expected to stay there this week.

Their club anthem Don't You Worry Child also managed to crossover and reach number one on the ARIA Top 50 Singles Chart.

However Canberra duo Peking Duk spent the past four weeks racing up the Club Chart, hitting number two last week - where it looked like they would (ahem) peak.

Peking Duk's hit The Way You Are has benefitted from a variety of remixes by the likes of local club star DCUP (no stranger to the top of the Club Chart), UK producer Tai, French producer Phantom's Revenge, New Zealand's Daniel Farley and US DJ Filthy Disco.

Peking Duk are a part of the Vicious Bitch stable - an imprint of Australia's long-running dance music label Vicious - and have recently been garnering on-air support from triple j. They will also be hitting the festival circuit across summer with gigs at Falls and Electric Playground coming up.
