Naturally, there's prizes on offer for entering...

The Street Press Australia Annual Readers' Poll has launched for 2012, with readers across the publishing house's magazines and theMusic.com.au invited to voice their opinion on the year.

We want to know what your favourite album, song, gig, film and TV shows of the year were, with the poll now open. In usual theMusic.com.au fashion, in return for your opinions we'll be giving away free shit. Fill out the poll for your chance to win a bunch of Logitech gear (speakers and earphones), with more prizes to be added in the coming weeks – including festival tickets from around the country. We've actually just this afternoon locked in a 30-ticket FlexiPass from the Sydney Film Festival! (That's 30 tickets to movies through the 2013 festival.)

The poll is open until Sunday 13 January, but you never know – we might draw some prizes for Christmas and New Year's, so the earlier you have your say the more likely you are to win.

Remember – the album, song, tour/gig, film or TV show has to have been released in Australia this year.

Last year we got a huge response from readers, with Gotye's Making Mirrors your favourite, ahead of Adele's 21 and The Black Keys' El Camino. Your favourite festival was Soundwave, followed by Harvest and Big Day Out, with Foo Fighters your favourite show, followed by Sufjan Stevens and Portishead.

And for the record, here's last year's Albums Of The Year (chosen by you!):
