EXCLUSIVE: Something For Kate Live And Acoustic Video

Nov 8th 2012 | 12:22pm | Alex Wilson
The iconic Australian alt-rock band Something For Kate have just released their latest single 'Miracle Cure', from their latest record Leave Your Soul To Sciencewhich debuted at No. 5 on the ARIA charts.

The song sees a veteran band doing what they do best: delivering tight, melodic rock with a raw and majestic bent, anchored by a smart rhythm section and Paul Dempsey's immediately-recognisable vocals.

Themusic.com.au has been lucky enough to score an exclusive and intimate live performance of 'Miracle Cure', featuring Dempsey alone with his acoustic guitar. You can watch it here. Also check out the official video, made in collaboration with bassist Stephanie Ashworth.

Having just come off a successful Australian tour, Something For Kate will be following up 'Miracle Cure' with festival appearances at Homebake, Queenscliff Music Festival and Golden Plains this summer.
