English rockers Foals have announced their latest album Holy Fire will be released on Friday 8 February.

The release date comes on the back of news that the guys will play a one-off Big Day Out sideshow at the Oxford Art Factory on Wednesday 23 January.

The album will be their first in three years, after 2010's acclaimed and Mercury Prize nominated Total Life Forever. The band has promised a more "dirtier, swampier and booty-shaking" sound on Holy Fire. It was recorded by production duo Flood & Moulder, who have previously worked with Smashing Pumpkins, Nine Inch Nails and The Killers.
