The underground label is giving you 16 bands for 15 bucks.

Burgeoning Brisbane indie label Lost Race Records have reached out to some of their city's most notorious underground bands and extended the invitation to a few new and exciting Sydney acts to come together for the inaugural Lost Race Festival.

The Coorparoo Bowls Club will come alive when this killer line up descends upon its clubhouse on Saturday 17 November, most of these bands have a reputation for making a hell of a racket, so we'repretty excited to see it all go down in the normally rather civilised environment of a bowls club.

The show will serve as a launch party for a number of bands, with Cobwebbs, Nite Fields, Secret Birds and Dreamtime all dropping new records around that time and officially launching them into the world at this event.

The local line up is headed up by the mighty Blank Realm, who never cease to impress and will play a late set, with Blank Vacation, Greg Boring, Uplock, Do The Robot, Naked Maja, Primitive Motion, Pale Earth and Subsea and Occults all taking sets at some stage during the day.

Three Sydney acts are making the trip up north for this exciting ocassion, Four Door (who you can expect to see very late), the awesomely jangly Day Ravies and the very talented Charles Buddy Daabul getting in on the action.

You can grab one of the first 150 tickets from the Lost Race Bandcamp right now for just $15 and we are assured the beverages are going to be very well priced. If you miss out on the first release you'll have to part with 20 bucks on the door.
