The Civil Wars Play Churches Across Australia

Heavenly Sounds has its first international act.

More The Civil Wars More The Civil Wars

After hosting tours for the likes of Seeker Lover Keeper, Lisa Mitchell and Karise Eden, the Heavenly Sounds series of shows, which sees artists performing in grand churches in capital cities across the country, hosts its first international guest as Grammy winners The Civil Wars make their first trip to Australia to be a part of it.

The Nashville based duo released their Barton Hollow album at the beginning of 2011, a record that earned them a great deal of acclaim, and while it took until early 2012 for it to get an Australian release, the songs began connecting with us pretty much immediately.

The church environment will suit The Civil Wars to a tee; their epic, luscious harmonies are one of the group's biggest selling points and you can already hear how incredible they will sound in these spaces.

Dates are below. All shows are all ages and tickets are available to the general public on Friday 5 October, or you can register for the pre-sale through Frontier Touring.
