Midnight Oil To Release Essential Oils

Fans will soon be able to get their full fix of Aussie legends Midnight Oil with the band announcing a massive 36-track greatest hits record to hit shelves in November.

Titled Essential Oils, the 2CD set chronologically orders the best tracks from their 25-year recording career, which consisted of 14 studio albums and 2 EPs.

The release includes remastered audio, liner notes by Rolling Stone Magazine Senior Editor, David Fricke and rare images from the Oil's archive, as listeners journey through the band's political and environmentally driven career.

Essential Oils will be released on Friday 2 November, with a sweet extras 'fun-pack' edition open to pre-order from the band's  website.
