And will Two Door Cinema Club lead this week's local chart?

Guy Sebastian has made an impact into the American Billboard charts this week with his track Battle Scars, which features Lupe Fiasco, debuting at 77.

Perhaps understandably, the track is being billed as Lupe Fiasco and Guy Sebastian in the States, but it is actually a Guy Sebastian song with guest vocals from Lupe.

Elsewhere Nervo have climbed to four on the Dance/Club Play chart with You're Gonna Love Again, Dead Can Dance remain top of the World Album Chart with Anastasis and Gotye (and Kimbra) are at the top of the Adult Contemporary Songs with Somebody That I Used To Know.

Locally Battle Scars has achieved platinum sales (over 70,000 copies) in Australia and is enjoying top spot in the ARIA Singles Chart in its third week. It will once again battle it out with Justice Crew's Boom Boom, Taylor Swift's We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together and Birdy's Skinny Love. According to this week's early figures, the top four will likely remain the top four again.

In the albums this week's fast-chargers are Two Door Cinema Club and Matchbox Twenty, with the former almost certain to crack the top ten. It's a solid week as well for last week's highest debut Timomatic, who managed to enter at three with his self-titled set.

Speaking to theMusic.com.au last night at an Hennessy Artistry at The Star in Sydney, where he was to perform, Timomatic admitted, “It's been a crazy year… a lot of ups, a few downs, but it's all positive and has lead to this moment.”

He elaborated, “For me an up is a great chart performance, but also just to know that that at a grassroots level my music is connecting with people… a down would be the negatives that come with it. Getting run down, getting, sick, dealing with things and having the pressure of chart performance, losing anonymity.”
