Nick Cave Joins Kylie Minogue In The Studio Again

One of the most incogruent yet brilliant Australian musical partnerships is reformed.

Last November Kylie Minogue went into the iconic Abbey Road studios in London to re-record 16 of her biggest hits with a full orchestra and today it has been announced that The Abbey Road Sessions will be released through Warner Music on Friday 26 October.

Most excitingly is the news that in amongst these 16 songs is a re-recorded version of her infamous duet with Nick Cave, Where The Wild Roses Grow, taken from Cave's 1996 album Murder Ballads. Cave joined Minogue at Abbey Road to completely re-record his vocal for the song.

The record is being released as a part of the ongoing K25 celebrations that mark the 25th year of Minogue's career.
