80s synthpop veterans Pet Shop Boys are set to release a new studio record next month. The new album, titled Elysium, will be released on Friday 14 September through Parlophone/EMI and is the group's eleventh album, following 2009's Yes.

The duo of Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe recorded Elysium in Los Angeles earlier this year, co-producing the material with Andrew Dawson, a US producer who is notable for his work with Kanye West.

Elysium's first single, Winner, is currently available for download as two digital bundles on iTunes. The bundles include additional original material, covers and remixes from producer Andrew Dawson, John Dahlback and Niki And The Dove. The band have also released the cover art and tracklisting for the upcoming record:

Upon release, Elysium will be available on CD (including a limited edition double CD with a bonus instrumental mix of the record) and 12” vinyl. The album has also received special mastering for a digital release on iTunes.
