The soundtrack to The Sapphires has managed to crack the number one spot on the ARIA Albums Chart this week, dislodging Ed Sheeran's + from the summit. The soundtrack, which features Jessica Mauboy, was tipped to mount a play for the top three after charting at five last week, but a late week surge granted it the top spot.

Local country singer Adam Brand's new album There Will Be Love was the highest debut at four, while Alpine's A Is For Alpine enjoyed a strong debut at 11, as had been predicted. It was a different story for the Digital Albums Chart though, with Alpine landing at five as the highest debut and Adam Brand at 19.

Catherine Britt's Always Never Enough debuted at 44.

After a dream run at the top, Karise Eden's My Journey slipped from two to seven this week.
