ASTA Wins triple j Unearthed High

It was announced this morning that Tasmanian songstress ASTA took out this year's triple j Unearthed High, with her song, My Heart Is On Fire.

The Rosny College student was amongst five other Unearthed High finalists including Tyler Touche (QLD), Soliloquy (VIC), Marionettes (NSW), Jesse Davidson (SA) and Jessica Cerro (NSW).

ASTA now joins the list of successful Unearthed High acts Snakadaktal (2011), Stonefield (2010), Hunting Grounds (2009) and Tom Ugly (2008) - most of which have changed their band name since winning.
