The Killing Joke frontman is bemused at the fuss made over his recent disappearance.

More Killing Joke More Killing Joke

Killing Joke frontman Jaz Coleman has been located in North Africa and is reportedly bemused by the attention his recent "disappearance" has attracted.

A statement on his official Facebook page states that he has been living a nomadic lifestyle and focusing on finishing work on two forthcoming projects; a book and a score for a concert and television show.

“I've been finishing my book and writing the score for my new project – (The Nirvana Symphonic) – (laughs), what's all the fuss about then?” he says in the statement.

Coleman was alleged to have gone on a rant attacking The Cult and The Mission, two bands that Killing Joke were supposed to be touring with later in the year, on the Killing Joke Facebook page before he disappeared. Coleman denies making the comments and claims no knowledge as to who may have done so. He does confirm, however, that Killing Joke will no longer be oplaying the proposed dates.

The statement ends as follows:

"Looks like this has caused a right ding dong and feel its impossible to continue this tour under the circumstances." His comments were to wish both The Cult and The Mission the best of luck on the tour, and to find out who has been impersonating him.
