Cosmic Psychos' Crowd Funding Win

Once again proving to be a successful method, the crowd funding target of $28,000 for the Cosmic Psychos' upcoming documentary, Cosmic Psychos: Blokes You Can Trust, was reached.

Initially, Director Matt Weston chose to self-finance the documentary, only to then follow the growing trend of crowd funding via the Australian site pozible.com, where pledgers would be treated to rewards depending on the value they choose to donate. Rewards ranged from free limited edition tshirts to the band playing a free show in the pledger's backyard shed, or even a three course meal cooked by the band.

The film trailer which featured Eddie Vedder, Butch Vig, The Melvins and Mudhoney proved to be popular garnering 11 thousand hits from fans worldwide, especially from the US.

Production for the film is scheduled to be complete in December 2012, with screenings predicted for early 2013.
