Gotye Nominated For Two VMAs

Gotye continues his domination of the United States with news coming through today that the clip for his number one smash hit Somebody That I Used To Know has been nominated as Video of the Year and Best Editing in a Video for the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards.

The clip, which was directed, produced and edited by Australian filmmaker Natasha Pincus, has already won a heap of accolades including the ARIA for Best Video and the number one spot in last year's Rage Fifty countdown of the year's best clips, as well as currently having close to 292 million views on YouTube to date.

The song, which features Gotye in duet with Kimbra, spent eight consecutive weeks in the number one spot on the US Billboard singles chart in April and June.
