Australia's Best Line Up For Queenscliff

Everyone from Gurrumul to King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard get a run.

More Missy Higgins More Missy Higgins

The Queenscliff Music Festival have announced the first round of acts they have secured for their 16th festival, which is taking place in the seaside Victorian town over three days and nights this November.

The freshly returned Missy Higgins pays her first visit to the festival, The Cat Empire bring their party-starting vibes once more, while Yolngu songman Gurrumul closes out the three big headliners.

But there's a wealth of gold on the undercard, with pretty much the finest Australian bands kicking around at the moment taking a spot on the bill at one stage or another. The legendary You Am I, Something For Kate, Baby Animals, Ian Moss and Diesel will be mixing it with more recently crowned (or at least soon to be) stars like British India, Shannon Noll, TZU, Owl Eyes, Emma Louise, Clairy Browne & The Bangin' Rackettes, The Beards, King Cannons, Ruby Boots, Kingswood, King Cannons, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Electric Empire, Pinky Beecroft & The White Russians, Chase The Sun, and All The Colours.

It ought to sound a little like this…
