10 July 2012 | 11:44 am | Staff Writer

A splendour of laughs, music and some intellectual conversation.

The details for the Splendour Forum at this month's Splendour In The Grass have been released with an array of comedians, music personalities, topics and Q and A sessions on the billing.

The forum has been one of Splendour's main and unique attractions over the past couple of years and 2012 looks no different with the inaugural Splendour Comedy Club kicking off with the likes of Wil Anderson, Catherine Deveny and Tom Ballard.

Festival goers will also be treated to a couple of anticipated screenings of Shihad: Beautiful Machine which documents the highs and lows in the career of the Kiwi rockers, as well as the cinematic musical journey Big Easy Express featuring Mumford & Sons.

Fans will also get intimate with a few of the country's most acclaimed songwriters including Josh Pyke and Emma Louise, as they discuss their craft and inspirations.
