The band play two club dates in Australia when they're here for Harvest.

There are only going to be two Sigur Rós sideshows when they are in the country for the Harvest Festival later this year and this afternoon it has been announced that Adelaide and Perth are the lucky cities who will get to witness the stunning Icelandic band in the intimate club setting.

The band, who are one of the major acts appearing at this year's Harvest, haven't been to Australia since their raved-about 2008 visit. They took their time in releasing new material as well, with this year's Valtari their first since 2008's heavily acclaimed Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust; thankfully the wait has been worthwhile, the record once again showing what beautiful music these guys are capable of making. And you can bet these songs are going to be absolutely incredible in the live setting.

Adelaide and Perth, who don't get the pleasure of hosting Harvest in their hometowns, get the Sigur Rós sideshows on the dates below. Tickets are available on Friday 13 July at 9am in the cities respective local times.
