Danish outfit, Efterklang, have released a video trailer for their fourth record, Piramida, which is scheduled for a Friday 21 September release in Australia via 4AD/Remote Control.

Recently in the country for the world premiere of the album, the three-piece played with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, as part of Vivid LIVE 2012. Rasmus Stolberg of Efterklang also told theMusic.com.au in a recent interview that fans can expect a much 'darker' and 'experimental' Efterklang sound in the forthcoming release.

The trailer documents the initial stages of the album making process - way back in August 2011 - in an abandoned Russian settlement on an Arctic island located near the North Pole called Spitsbergen. The video follows the three musicians (Mads Brauer, Casper Clausen and Rasmus Stolberg) as they collect field recordings, sing into vacant spaces and explore the gorgeous environment of the abandoned area.
