Also, Gotye pushed out of the singles chart by The Voice.

More Xavier Rudd More Xavier Rudd

Missy Higgins kept her number one spot on the ARIA Album chart this week, with The Ol' Razzle Dazzle holding out a fast-charging Xavier Rudd and his album Spirit Bird. The new album from UsherLooking 4 Myself, could only debut at three, giving the local artists the top two spots this week.

Elsewhere this week, Hot Chip's In Our Heads debuted at 19, Train's California 37 shot back into the chart at nine, and the compilation Offspring: Music From the Hit Show: Volume 3 entered at 34, one behind the Rock Of Ages soundtrack.

As we've come to expect, it was a different world in the Digital Album charts, with Rudd's Spirit Bird taking top spot in a reversal of the overall charts.

Indie acts tend to feature more prominently in the Digital charts and Jonathan Boulet's We Keep The Beat, Found The Sound, See The Need, Start The Heart entered at 24, one above The Hives' Lex Hives. Interestingly, The Hives managed 38 in the overall chart, while Jonathan Boulet missed out.

In the ARIA Singles chart, Flo Rida managed to hold off The Voice's Karise Eden, with Whistle staying top ahead of Hallelujah. Once again The Voice had a number of entries into the chart this week (viewers can vote by buying tracks through iTunes) and that proved to be bad news for Gotye. His track Somebody That I Used To Know, featuring Kimbra, was getting very close to the magic 52 weeks/one year mark, but is knocked out of the top 50, after 48 weeks, this week.
