Julia Stone Joins Aus Invasion Of International Charts

Australia's Julia Stone enters the UK charts as fellow countrymen Gotye, Sia and Havana Brown climb US charts.

As Gotye, Sia and Havana Brown continue climbing the US charts this week, Julia Stone quietly made her presence felt in the UK Top 100.

Ahead of Stone's latest solo album, her cover of the Grease song You're The One That I Want has appeared on a Sky TV ad and been released as a single in the UK.

Stone's Olivia Newton-John cover this week jumped from 82 to 72 in the UK singles chart. It was originally an Angus & Julia Stone b-side.

In the US, Gotye holds the top spot of the US chart for the sixth week with Somebody That I Used To Know while It remains atop their Alternative Songs chart for a 12th week.

And, as Sia slips to six, having held at a peak of five for the past two weeks in the US, with her Flo Rida collaboration Wild Ones, her track Titanium - a David Guetta collab - jumps from 46 to 30 in its sixth week in the US Hot 100. [Titanium holds at three in the US Dance/Club Play Chart this week.]

Lower down the chart, We Run The Night by Sydney's Havana Brown and US R&B artist Pit Bull, is now in its eighth week in the US Hot 100, as it moves up from 71 to 65.

Also, Australian christian group Newsboys' had their God's Not Dead album leap from 101 to 76 - in its 20th week in now, it previously peaking at 51
