Children Collide's Singer Moves To NYC As They Announce Aus Tour

Frontman flees the country but will return for extensive tour.

Three weeks ago Children Collide unleashed their third full length record Monument, following a well publicised stoush within the band that saw drummer Ryan Caesar decide to leave the band following the tour in support of that record's first single Sword To A Gunfight.

The latest news out of the band's camp is that frontman Johnny Mackay - who is believed to have clashed with Caesar - has decided that he is going to move to New York City next week, just a month after the release of the new album. But he has said he'll be back a few times throughout the year so the band can remain active on the Australian live scene, the first of his return trips to happen in August when the band launch the album on the road following the release of its second single Cherries.

The mammoth Monument tour takes place across the following shows:
