Melbourne's Simon Astley Hits Sydney

After the recent launch of his new album City Lights (Regal Records), Melbourne singer songwriter Simon Astley is on a roll. Maybe even a Rick roll.

The often atmospheric City Lights was recorded in Melbourne late last year. Since 2004 Astley has released one album, one EP and three singles.

A recent overseas tour has seen Astley play a strings of shows throughout the UK, including appearances in France and Ireland. To date he has supported acts like Gotye, Airbourne and Dan Sultan. He returns to Australia to promote his new album this month
