'Retired' Australian expat Sia Furler has found her career going through one its most furtive periods in 2012.
Having announced a break from recording and live performance, after being diagnosed with Graves' Disease, Furler has become an in-demand songwriter following a string of hits around the world this year.
This week her Best Of Sia album debuted in the ARIA Albums Chart at number 30.
In the US her guest collaborations are dominating the Dance/Club Play Chart. Just as Wild Ones with Flo Rida peaked there at 30, a reworking of the track called Wild One Two, by David Guetta under his Jack Back guise), jumps from nine to six while Titanium, another Guetta collab, has shot up from 39 to 25.
In the US Hot 100, Wild Ones sits at number seven for a second week.
In the UK today, Titanium remained top ten after 21 weeks in the chart as Wild Ones slipped to number eight (after peaking at seven last week) in its eleventh week of charting.
Titanium has been top ten in over twenty countries already.
Kate Pierson of The B'52s has recently revealed that she is co-writing her forthcoming solo album with Furler.
