ALBUM PREMIERE: Wild Meadows - 'Wild Meadows'

Noise-pop five-piece Wild Meadows are stepping out into the light by dropping their debut self-titled album, premiering today on theMusic.com.au.

The LP opens strong with latest single First Exit, a dark and swirling track that sets the groundwork for the following seven songs.

Vocalist Jessica Lawrence’s distinct sound cuts through the crunching guitars and prominent percussion that inflates the collection of tunes.

Planted somewhere in-between modern garage-punk and nostalgia shoegaze-pop, the cut is an incredibly strong showing from a debut album.

Wild Meadows’ self-titled debut is slated for official release 2 March with the band hitting the road during April for a duo of album launch shows in Sydney and Melbourne.
