SINGLE PREMIERE: Zoe Ryan - 'Drink'

WA folk-pop singer-songwriter Zoe Ryan has unleashed her debut solo single, Drink.

“Whilst being a protest song, it's also a salute to the daily grind, and the majority of the people,” Ryan told The Music earlier this month.

“I'd been working a lot for some time, not really taking breaks, so I was feeling the grind more than ever and there was a desire to be recording. So that became the inspiration.”

It’s the first taste of a forthcoming solo album and will get its live debut next month at Badlands Bar alongside Helen Shanahan, The Little Lord Street Band, Xanthea and Simone & Girlfunkle.
