PREMIERE: Birdz - Black Lives Matter

Never has a topic like Black Lives Matter been more poignant, with the US rife with racial tension after a series of black deaths at the hands of law enforcement officers. Closer to home, in recent days ATSI communities have seen a 14-year-old killed in Kalgoorlie, a 22-year-old woman dying in custody and children gassed in a youth detention centre in NT.

TheMusic.com.au are proud to premiere NT-raised hip hop act Birdz' new song, Black Lives Matter, today, a hard-hitting song spliced with news audio, lines like "this shit keeps happening" and overall whole lot of truth-telling by the Bad Apples signee.

Having shared the stage with The Funkoars and Briggs, Birdz will be premiering the fantastic new song at a sold out show with AB Original tonight at the Workers Club.
