PREMIERE: Filthy Apes – Luna Solar Dreamer

Perth psychedelic fuzz rockers Filthy Apes are gearing up to release their new EP, Luna Solar Dreamer, this weekend, and we’ve got your first listen right here.

Having done away with their masks since their debut EP, Indigovidual, the follow-up sees a more refined sound, aided by The Love Junkies’ Mitch McDonald jumping on as producer once more.

Tracked at the iconic Astor Theatre, the new tunes have “eerie vibes that weren't really planned”, according to Matt Czabotar.

After conquering Beaufort Street Festival, WAM Festival and a number of sold out shows last year, you can catch them at the Luna Solar Dreamer EP launch at Mojo’s Bar this Saturday, 27 Feb, with support from Pat Chow, Ah Trees, Fuzz Toads, Jacob Diamond, Mitch Mc Donald and World A Fuzzy.
