PREMIERE: Quarter Street - Quarter Street

Melbourne-based salsa eight-piece Quarter Street are exclusively premiering their newest self-titled long-player with theMusic.com.au today, ahead of the official release on Friday, 14 August through Hope Street Recordings.

A showcase of old school salsa dura born out of New York in the '70s, the record is "gritty and ballsy" as the press notes say, but it's sure to get your body rocking. Quarter Street brings together Melbourne's grooviest Latin and Jazz musicians, raised on Spanish language music and a love for everything salsa.
