Shark sets the bar early: a clear highlight of the night.

More Boy & Bear More Boy & Bear

We enter for day two and, as we walk down the garden paths, we marvel at the festival's transformation. The rows of white chairs have been replaced with picnic rugs, which are scattered about, and there is a younger crowd enjoying a social party atmosphere.

Amy Shark kicks things off with a bang, delivering her down-tempo hits backed by a guitarist/keyboardist and drummer. She has a strong stage presence and her emotional lyricism and powerful vocals are captivating. At times she swaps the acoustic guitar for an electric and puts the instruments down to dance and deliver a verse. Punters gather at the front, dancing and singing, as others soak up her stunning vocals from their positions on blankets on the grass. She drops a brand new single to everyone's delight and we dance to its bouncy beat. She finishes this set with her triple j hottest 100 hit Adore, which came runner-up, and everyone rushes to the front. Shark sets the bar early: a clear highlight of the night.

The DJ to the side of the stage, Buster Stickup, takes over with funky house tunes until the MC announces San Cisco as we cheer and applaud. The indie-pop outfit drop their new, upbeat, rollicking tune B Side and fans dance along. The quartet play the mellow Too Much Time Together and then shake things up with Jealousy as frontman Jordi Davieson puts the guitar down and busts moves. The crowd clap and sing along to their catchy hit Awkward and it's always impressive to see a drummer singing lead vocals. San Cisco deliver a cheerfully light set that gets everyone up and dancing.

Buster Stickup mixes house tunes as the night falls and the sky lights up with fireworks and jugs of sangria are passed around between friends.

Next, Boy & Bear take the stage. The indie-folk quintet has everyone on their feet as they deliver their popular foot-stomping tracks. The punters dance with arms in the air as Boy & Bear bust out their hit single Shape Of Love. The good-times festival vibes are lifted even higher when the band launch into their cover of Crowded House's Fall At Your Feet, which becomes A Weekend At The Garden singalong. Boy & Bear finish their set with crowd favourite Southern Sun accompanied by our cheers and rhythmic clapping.
