APP - Today Calander

If you're looking for a new calendar to trump the default calendar provided on your Android smartphone, you're probably aware that you have an overwhelming amount of options to choose from on the Play Store.

There's calendars with huge amounts of customisation, really comprehensive features, and more options than you could ever know what to do with. But if you want something that just improves the the stock Android calendar, yet doesn't overload you with unnecessary features, you need Today Calendar.

It's based on Google Calendar, and aesthetically it looks and feels quite similar, although it’s adorned with a much brighter and less dull colour scheme. Today separates itself by offering a unique split screen month and agenda view, which allows you to see an overview of your upcoming events for the weeks ahead in the upper month view pane, and on the agenda pane below, it shows the relevant events for the day you have selected. You can then swipe left and right through each day to quickly see upcoming events in detail. It's fast and easy to create new events with the '+'  icon on the agenda pane, a feature that is strangely void on Google Calendar.

If you prefer a different calendar view, it also comes with the four traditional calendar views; Day, Week, Month and Agenda.
