This Melbourne-based five-piece have done something rather special on this, their debut album.

In utilising old school instrumentation, production techniques and songwriting style, they have created an album that is both highly distinctive and modern. It sounds like an album for 2018 audiences that was written and recorded in 1973. No mean feat.

How did they manage to pull off this minor miracle? As much studio trickery as there is available to the modern artist, you still can't just flick a switch on your Pro Tools software and make it sound like this. It's obvious much care, hard work and attention has been put into every facet of this album's creation. And the end result is quite stunning.

Of course, all the old school sounds and production in the world should only serve the song, and that's the case here. The band's songs are super-quirky, ultra-catchy pop that have subtle touches of psychedelia, enjoyably languid grooves and dreamy vibes; songs that you can lose yourself in.
