Album Review: Gogol Bordello - Seekers And Finders

Finally, Gogol Bordello are of legal age. Eighteen years after their debut record, the world's most well-known purveyors of gypsy punk return with 11 tracks that prove they've taken not one step backwards over the journey.

Frenetic and coarse, Eugene Hutz's unique delivery style leads a cacophony of musicians contributing with (nearly) a whole alphabet worth of instruments, from accordion to xylophone. A Regina Spektor guest appearance ties in nicely on the opening track, and while the slower Clearvoyance is a downer, for the most part, Seekers And Finders shows that punk's tendrils stretch further than you may think.
