"Lizzy Grant's cracks only now start to show in moments of collaboration."

More Lana Del Rey More Lana Del Rey

Maintaining the alter-ego Lana Del Rey for her fifth album this decade, Lizzy Grant's cracks only now start to show in moments of collaboration.

A$AP Rocky and Playboi Carti are unable to buy convincingly into the fantasy on Summer Bummer,   while The Weeknd adds nothing Del Rey isn't handling perfectly well by herself, dangerously romancing the Hollywood sign on the title track. Sean Ono Lennon's laid back flower-power is welcoming on Tomorrow Never Came but as Get Free waves off the album by plundering Radiohead's Creep, Del Rey's trademark widescreen-noir feels slightly less breathtaking.
