"Proof that Halsey is capable of making music that gets radio play whilst retaining her creativity and originality."

More Halsey More Halsey

Hopeless Fountain Kingdom is Halsey's second attempt at a theatrical concept album, this time with a Romeo & Juliet-inspired story and theme.

For the first time Halsey features other artists on her own songs, each carefully chosen to reflect the different sides of her music style; Cashmere Cat, the alternative-electro, on Hopeless; Quavo, the urban, on Lie; and Fifth Harmony's Lauren Jauregui, the pop, and fellow outspoken bisexual featuring on Strangers, a love song for the LGBT community.

Hopeless Fountain Kingdom is proof that Halsey is capable of making music that gets radio play whilst retaining her creativity and originality. A rarity in modern pop music, it's an album you have to listen to from start to finish, as a complete body of work.
