"Sometimes it's best to stick with what you do best - rock."

More Linkin Park More Linkin Park

As pop-synth sounds ring out in Nobody Can Save Me, the chances of finding the metal/rap sound that fans loved in Linkin Park's Hybrid Theory look to be diminishing.

They dive into their new-found electro pop-rock sound in Talking To Myself. Only the electric guitar riffs give it their old rock feel, while more synths in Sorry For Now and Battle Symphony overpower the lyrically intense songs.

While Kiiara and Chester Bennington's vocals are a match made in heaven, Heavy is basically the opposite. Linkin Park are trying too hard to fit into the mainstream, and going pop wasn't the best idea. Sometimes it's best to stick with what you do best — rock.
