Album Review: You Me At Six - Night People

"...blasts off with its title track opener."

More You Me At Six More You Me At Six

Night People blasts off with its title track opener — complete with the always difficult manoeuvre of using a vocoder right.

Nicely played, lads! And a kicker to begin. Mid-album highlights include the sweet and very sing-along-able Take On The World, while Swear takes sentiment and turns it upside down (heavier, but still well worth a bedroom/car singalong).

A bit more grunt comes with Make Your Move (complete with a cool, synthy echo), while the space in Spell It Out allows each band member's skill to really shine; dissonant and depressed in the right way, get ready to hit repeat on this one in particular.
