Album Review: Sticky Fingers - Westway (The Glitter & The Slums)

After years of partying, music and good times, Sticky Fingers have dropped off their latest 11-track collection, lamenting the hardships of musicians.

Kicking off with beachy One By One, the Rastafarian nature of Dylan Frost's sultry vocals are lost somewhere. It's clear these songs are more polished and with a lot more thought put into their production. Sad Songs is a happily melancholic tune about the band finding themselves, and it's not until halfway through the album we finally get some classic sticky reggae beats in Something Strange. The summer-oriented album brings forward images of your mate sitting in the backseat chorusing completely off-key. It's a solid piece of work.
