Album Review: Caravana Sun - Guerrilla Club

Sydney's Caravana Sun have undergone significant growth since their previous album Aya.

Released in 2013, the quartet's second album found the band still trading on their innate chemistry and reputation as a live act with a series of memorable grooves in search of proper dynamics and hooks. Guerrilla Club is a different proposition. While the occasional awkward chorus reveals they still have room to grow as songwriters, they've otherwise progressed in leaps and bounds - developing a rich and malleable sound that moves across soul, reggae, dance and pop-rock with grace. A possible hint of greatness to come.
