"Every emotion is worn prominently on every song's sleeve."

More Lucero More Lucero

Classic country grit is dragged into 2015 with Lucero's approach to a genre they obviously know inside and out.

All A Man Should Do is the kind of post-modern twist on something that can only be accomplished when a band has faithfully learned all the rules before they start to break them. From regret to angst, sadness to joy and everything in between, every emotion is worn prominently on every song's sleeve. Lucero are unapologetically open, which is a big part of what makes this album work. When music is this earnest, it's hard to ignore.
