"An enduring listen and occupies the background rather than being utterly compelling or engaging."

More A$AP Rocky More A$AP Rocky

Names such as A$AP Rocky, Kendrick Lamar and Kanye West are becoming interchangeable, their latest ‘groundbreaking’ efforts coming across as recycled and uninspired when cross-referenced and then compared to newcomers such as Schoolboy Q and Joey Bada$$, who possess an extra element of grit.

Sure everyone has had that one life-changing trip but no one wants to hear A$AP Rocky moaning sexually about LSD as is apparent on the lead single on At.Long.Last.A$AP. At 18 tracks it’s an enduring listen and occupies the background rather than being utterly compelling or engaging. Expectable, enjoyable, but no game changer.
