"It’s a psychedelic and experimental album at heart, and thus, won’t be for everyone"

Combining lo-fi electronica with screeching guitars, GDA Ideas is an album embodying a wide array of influences, Rob Lennox’s reticent vocals and guitar cascade over platforms of industrial breakbeats mingling together into an abrasive wall of sound.

The manner in which they’re deployed varies across the 14 tracks, with moments of pure noise (Kerosene, Found In Equalisation), traditional songwriting (Best For You, Someone) and tranquil ambience (Sidewalk, A Touch Of Fill) all present. It’s a psychedelic and experimental album at heart, and thus, won’t be for everyone. Those with a penchant for such sounds will find comfort.
