"The album brims with Wilson’s inimitable sunny harmonies, but also shares moments of solemn introspection"

Collaborating with Zooey Deschanel, Kacey Musgraves and Sebu Simonian, and including an electronic dance track so left field it’s nearly out of the park, Wilson has proves again he’s not to be pigeonholed.

With this aptly titled offering, he’s shed all pressures of expectation. The album brims with Wilson’s inimitable sunny harmonies, but also shares moments of solemn introspection, reflecting on a career and life not always well lived: The Last Song fades out repeating “There’s never enough time for the ones that you love.” Honest, confessional and unpredictable, the record mirrors the artist and man.
