There’s plenty more in the tank.

More New Found Glory More New Found Glory

Resurrection is an apt title for Florida’s New Found Glory’s latest album, given it’s their first since the split with founding guitarist and lyricist, Steve Klein. The charges laid against Klein don’t need airing here, but his departure certainly hasn’t dulled NFG’s sharp take on the pop-punk sound they’ve helped curate since the late-‘90s.

It’s difficult to tell if songs like The Worst Person and the title track are direct references to Klein, but the overwhelming direction of Resurrection is positive. Ready And Willing and One More Round, for starters, indicate there’s plenty more in the tank.
